A closer view of the mid-boiler or 'waist' area provides a better look at the sand dome detail and shows the hatches open ready for filling. In this view you can also see some space between the running board and the boiler illustrating how the running boards are prototypically hung on brackets extending from the boiler as they should be. No other builder provides this level of detail.
